In addition to providing education and advocacy for our community, Coshare will:
- Provide the engine to produce the Global Coworking Unconference and Conference [GCUC, or its re-branded name]. We will lead the financial and staffing resources to produce this world class conference each year.
- Provide resources and access to tools for emerging coworking spaces.
- Provide resources to organize and moderate the Coworking Google Group.
- Provide resources (money to staff) to support the Coworking Wiki Project.
- Provide advocacy for coworking related topics, such as:
- Getting the official spelling of coworking in the AP style book
- Educating Google on the needs of Coworking spaces ( for example, how one business address can be claimed by 200 businesses on Google Places)
- Be the touch point for government when there is an interest in connecting to coworking spaces
- Fund studies on coworking and the impact of coworking on society, the economy
and individuals.
